While your compute costs can drop to zero, the base fee allows us to maintain a sustainable, high-performance platform that doesn't compromise on reliability.

When your service is idle, we pause your container and stop the meter on CPU and Memory usage—you only pay for the base fee and any persistent storage. The impact on latency depends on the service type:

• Web Services (HTTP): Your service pauses completely. The "cold start" delay is simply your application's natural boot time as it wakes up to handle the first incoming request.
• Private Services (TCP): You can choose to keep the service "warm" for lightning-fast <50ms wake-ups (paying only for disk), or scale it to "cold" for maximum cost savings with a standard container boot-up.

In both cases, we monitor your traffic and metrics 24/7 to ensure your services are ready the moment they are needed, while keeping your compute costs at $0 during downtime.

Yes. You have full visibility with cost data updated every hour. While we don't currently support "hard kills" the exact second a budget is reached, you can set custom alerts and limits that we check every hour. If a runaway process or traffic spike causes an unexpected bill before you can react, reach out—common sense applies here, and we’ll waive fees for genuine accidents.
